Located in Huaqiao, Kunshan, Suzhou, the Vibrant Sports Park is a 60,000 SF community sports landscape that integrates cultural expression with contemporary urban recreation. Inspired by the flowing water sleeves of Kunqu opera, the design translates this dynamic imagery into fluid spatial forms, shaping a continuous "white ribbon" skate park constructed with UHPC to achieve both performance and visual lightness. The park brings together diverse programs—including basketball, skating, and children's play—within an interconnected layout that encourages movement and interaction. Conceived as an inclusive public space, it offers layered seating, shaded areas, and open zones for users of all ages, while ecological planting strategies enhance microclimate and biodiversity. The project reactivates the site as a vibrant social hub, merging sports, culture, and everyday urban life.
